Do you see kids and families?
Yes! We provide gentle, kid-friendly eye exams for school age children and teens, and we’re happy to book parents at the same time when possible. If you’re unsure about coverage for your child’s exam, contact us and we’ll help you understand your options before you book.
How soon can I get an appointment?
We’ll do our best to get you in as quickly as possible. Most patients are able to book an eye exam within the same or following week. If you contact us we’ll let you know the soonest available slot that works with your schedule. You can also book online.
How much does an eye exam cost?
Our complete eye exams are priced at $85.If you’re eligible for OHIP coverage or have private insurance, part or all of your exam may be covered.
Are eye exams covered by OHIP or insurance?
In Ontario, OHIP coverage for eye exams depends on your age and health:
Children and teens under 19: one full eye exam every 12 months
Adults 65 and older: one full eye exam every 18 months
Patients with diabetes or glaucoma:12 months
